Party Plus
Rental Policies
Reservations:
We encourage you to
make your reservation in advance to guarantee the items will be
available to you for your party or wedding. We accept minor changes to
your contract up to 48 hours before customer pickup or scheduled
delivery. We require a $50.00
cash deposit (cash only-no checks) for all orders under $100.00. All
other orders over $100.00 require a credit or debit card on file, except
for Party Plus charge accounts. Deposits are required on most rental
equipment. Deposits are
non-refundable if the rental
is cancelled or the date of the event is changed.
Party Plus charges $25.00 for all returned checks.
Rental Fees:
Rental fees are
charged for the time the rental equipment is out, regardless if used or
not. Rental fees are incurred until the items are returned to the store.
Most rental equipment is rented for a one-day rate from Friday to
Monday. Audio/visual equipment, moon bounces, baby supplies, and home &
business supplies are charged for each day they are rented. We require
that all orders be paid in full prior to pickup or delivery.
Release of Responsibility:
Party Plus is not
responsible for any property damage or personal injury sustained while
equipment is being loaded into or out of a customer’s vehicle.
If our employees assist in the loading/unloading, the customer
assumes the full risk of any such damage or injury.
Rental Return Procedure:
Customers are asked
to check in at the front counter before dropping off any rental
equipment at the loading dock or dish door.
We are unable to assist you with returns until we have checked
your rental contract.
Delivery/Pickup:
We charge a
delivery fee for all orders based on location. Additional fees will be
charged for delivery times scheduled before we open at 8am or after we
close at 5pm; Sunday deliveries or pick-ups; delivery to floors other
than the first floor; and set-up or breakdown of items. All tables and
chairs will be left stacked on delivery.
Please have tables and chairs stacked for pickup (this includes
bagging the resin chairs).
Labor fees will be charged to the customer if the rentals are not ready
for pickup or the building or area for pick-up is not accessible for our
drivers. It is the
customer’s responsibility to return any rental items that were not
accessible to our drivers at the time of pick-up.
Tents:
Half of the price
of the tent is required on all contracts at the time of reservation.
This is a non-refundable
deposit. Once a deposit is
received, we hold the tent for you and it is no longer available to
other customers. Therefore,
the deposit is forfeited if the rental date and/or the size of the tent
change.
Linen:
All linen is sent
out “table ready.” If you receive linen that is not acceptable, please
call the store at 207-283-8009 immediately.
If it is after
hours, please leave a voicemail message. It is expected that linen will
be returned with food stains. However, to avoid additional charges,
please shake all food, confetti, glitter, animal hair, paper, and debris
from the linen before returning. Never put dirty linen in plastic bags
as it will mildew quickly if damp. Sparklers will burn the linen.
Customers will be charged a replacement fee for all linens that are
returned to us with tears, burns, wax, or any non-food stains that do
not wash out. We do not have
any linen for rent for lobster bakes; we can supply you with paper or
plastic tablecloths. If linen is returned with lobster stains, a
replacement charge will be applied.
China/Glassware/Flatware:
All dishware is
sent out “table ready”. If
you receive anything that is unacceptable or broken, please call the
store at 283-8009 immediately.
If it is after hours, please leave a voicemail message.
It is the customer’s responsibility to return all dishes,
flatware, and glassware appropriately stacked in the racks provided.
Glasses must be rinsed and placed upside down in the racks.
China
must be scraped and rinsed free of food.
Flatware must be sorted and rinsed free of food.
Any breakage, missing items, or damaged items will be charged to
the customer after the order is counted in at our store.
Moon bounce:
A fifty percent
deposit is due when reserving a moon bounce.
The deposit is
non-refundable except in the case of rain.
Cancellations for moon bounces can be made up to one hour before
the reservation
but only in the case of rain,
therefore the deposit for the moon bounce can be used for another
reservation or refunded.
Refunds will not be given if a moon bounce is rented and it rains after
the item is taken from the store.
Moon bounces should never be used in the rain, or a cleaning fee
will be charged to the customer if returned wet and unbagged.
Moonbounces are only customer pickup in a pickup truck, we do not
deliver or pickup moonbounce rentals, no exceptions can be made.
